Join to apply for the Talent Acquisition Manager (12 month FTC) role at Legl. Legl is a fast-growing B2B regtech/fintech platform on a mission to bring the legal industry into the 21st century. We're backed by some of the best venture investors in Europe (Series B) and are scaling quickly in our next phase of growth. Our mission is to make legal services work better for law firms and their clients. Since launching just over 4 years ago, we're proud to partner with over 450 law firms – including 40 of the UK's Top 200 – and some of their regulated clients as well. The Legl team is agile, ambitious, and collaborative.

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join us on a 12 month FTC, someone who is laser‐focused on finding, attracting, and hiring the very best talent. You'll spend the majority of your time (~70%) driving our hiring efforts end‐to‐end: from crafting world‐class sourcing strategies, to managing a best‐in‐class candidate experience, to partnering closely with hiring managers to make confident, data‐informed hiring decisions. You'll also play a key role in shaping the People function more broadly – supporting onboarding, compliance, and initiatives that help us retain and grow our exceptional team.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full‐cycle hiring across tech and commercial roles – from brief to offer – ensuring speed, precision, and quality in every hire.
  • Drive sourcing‐led recruitment with minimal agency reliance, using creativity and data to find and engage exceptional candidates in competitive markets.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define what great looks like, design structured selection processes, and make confident, evidence‐based hiring decisions.
  • Own the candidate experience – delivering a consistent, transparent, and engaging journey that reflects our culture and helps close top talent.
  • Deliver smooth onboarding and offboarding processes that reinforce our values and set people up for success.
  • Support employer brand initiatives that tell our story and attract mission‐driven talent.
  • Manage HR operations – ensuring systems, documentation, and compliance are accurate and up to date.
  • Use data and feedback to identify bottlenecks, measure hiring performance, and drive improvements.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment at every stage.

About You

  • You've built a strong track record in end‐to‐end recruitment, likely from an agency background, and you know how to deliver at pace without compromising quality.
  • You've hired across tech and commercial functions, ideally within scaling SaaS or VC‐backed environments.
  • You're a 10/10 executor – you roll up your sleeves, take ownership, and get things done.
  • You're strategic in how you source, assess, and close talent – creative, data‐savvy, and commercial.
  • You've successfully managed international hiring – navigating different markets, time zones, and cultures with ease.
  • You thrive in fast‐moving, ambiguous environments, balancing competing priorities with pragmatism and focus.
  • You're curious about how hiring connects to broader People priorities – but your passion is finding and securing world‐class talent.
  • You communicate directly and thoughtfully, building trust and credibility across teams.
  • You care about making things better – but you're most energised by delivering results and seeing great people join the business.

What's in it for you

  • A competitive salary that is aligned to our high‐performance culture.
  • £250 annual wellbeing budget to spend on anything that helps you be your best self.
  • Access to professional therapy sessions through our wellbeing programme.
  • Regular team events – from Hackathons to Summer & Winter Parties.
  • The opportunity to join a well‐funded, ambitious Series B startup and make an immediate, visible impact.
