Legl is a fast-growing B2B SaaS scaleup on a mission to bring the legal industry into the 21st century. We’re backed by some of the best venture investors in Europe (Series B) and are delivering rapidly on our next phase of growth. We are reimagining how law firms operate to enrich their clients’ experience. Since launching just over four years ago, we’re proud to partner with over 350 law firms, including 40 of the UK’s top 200, and some of their regulated clients as well. We have an agile, ambitious, and collaborative team with deep expertise in design, technology, and our industry. We thrive on challenge, innovation, pace, and the mindset that every day is day one. We’re driven by data and first-principles decision-making, and we’re looking for people who are ready to grow with us.

As a Digital Marketing Manager at Legl, you’ll take full ownership of our digital marketing ecosystem, managing and optimising our website, email, PPC, and paid social channels to drive revenue and growth. Your expertise will ensure that our owned and paid channels operate seamlessly and effectively, delivering measurable impact. We’re looking for a full-stack digital marketer with a strong track record of improving digital channel performance in a scaling B2B SaaS environment. This role is pivotal to the success of our marketing team and broader go-to-market strategy, helping to establish repeatable, scalable processes that drive results. By owning the Digital Marketing OKRs, you’ll play a key role in achieving our ambitious growth objectives.

Digital Marketing at Legl has three main objectives:

  • Optimise owned and paid marketing channels to drive pipeline, deliver exceptional ROI, and support our growth goals.
  • Implement best practices and scalable standards to ensure seamless alignment across teams and campaigns.
  • Make it effortless for our audience to discover, engage with, and buy from Legl.

You will be responsible for:

  • Owning and optimising all paid and owned digital marketing channels—including the website, email, and social media—to drive performance, engagement, and conversions.
  • Enhancing the website as a high-converting customer experience (CX) hub, maximising its impact as a lead generation engine.
  • Developing and implementing repeatable digital marketing processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality.
  • Leveraging SEO and data-driven insights to improve digital performance and align efforts with key business KPIs.
  • Planning, executing, and optimising high-impact marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Leading change management initiatives across digital channels and the broader organisation to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Establishing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices for digital marketing operations.
  • Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration with GTM teams, sales, customer success, and product to ensure seamless alignment and maximise impact.

What success looks like after 3 months:

  • You’re owning and leading all owned and paid digital marketing channels, completing a detailed audit.
  • You’ve implemented quick wins to improve channel performance and established hygiene in key areas with demonstrable impact on performance.
  • You’ve developed strong relationships across the GTM function and begun laying out a vision for long-term improvements.

You will have:

  • Experience managing and optimising websites as a core lead generation engine, with proficiency in CMS platforms like HubSpot. Practical knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience managing key channels like Google Ads, Bing Ads, PPC, and paid social campaigns, with additional expertise in email automation or social media management.
  • The ability to create and articulate a vision for digital excellence while applying a build-test-learn methodology to drive continuous improvements.
  • A deep understanding of customer needs, ensuring digital strategies are always aligned to enhance customer experience and engagement.
  • A data driven mindset—specifically the ability to interpret and apply insights from multiple data sources to optimise campaigns and drive marketing and business outcomes.
  • Strong skills in working cross-functionally to align objectives, foster consensus, and execute effectively.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to develop clear plans, align resources, and meet deadlines with precision while handling ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • A meticulous focus on getting the small things right to drive big-picture success.
  • Experience leading website and digital optimisation projects, navigating evolving business needs, and implementing impactful solutions.

Legl might not be the place for you if:

  • You’re not driven by personal growth, high expectations, or if you struggle with ambiguity and change—our environment thrives on pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and adapting quickly.

But it most certainly will be if:

  • You thrive in a fast-paced agile environment. Pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and striving for more comes naturally to you.
  • You respond to change with ease and can pivot swiftly with minimal guidance.

What’s in it for you:

  • We all share in Legl’s success which is why everyone who joins Legl receives share options.

  • Legl offers dynamic, flexible working designed to prioritise outcomes and ensure our ways of working fits seamlessly into your life.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave to take time when it matters most.
  • £250 per year wellbeing budget to spend on anything which contributes to you being your best self such as Gym Memberships, Spa treatments or even Meditation classes.
  • Access to support sessions with a professional therapist because we understand that sometimes you need a safe space to gain insight into your thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
  • £1,000 per year L&D budget to prioritise your continued development.
  • We love to get together and we host socials regularly: from Hackathons to Summer & Winter Parties you will have plenty of opportunities to socialise with peers.
  • An opportunity to join a well-funded, highly ambitious post-Series B startup in our mission to make legal services better for everyone.
