Hi 👋 We’re Legl. Legl is building the operating system for modern legal services. We help law firms and regulated businesses replace manual, fragmented workflows with intelligent software from client onboarding and compliance to payments, risk, and reporting. Legal work is full of high-stakes decisions, heavy regulation, and deeply human interactions. Unfortunately, the software that supports it has historically been slow, manual, and brittle. We believe it doesn’t have to be that way and that AI, used thoughtfully and responsibly, can dramatically raise the bar.

Our Growth team exists to own the full funnel from how the market first hears about Legl to how prospects become customers and customers become advocates. We’re early enough that the problems are still open-ended, the decisions still matter, and the impact of your work is immediately visible. Joining now means helping set direction, raising the bar for quality and execution, and building something that fundamentally changes how Legl makes an impact.

We’re searching for someone who understands how to build a GTM engine, working across the revenue function from marketing, sales to customer success. Someone who can identify trends and trigger events, build the momentum with hot leads that generates pipeline for the sales team, and work creatively to drive growth within our install base.

As our Commercial Marketing Associate, you’ll bridge the gap between marketing strategy and revenue outcomes, using content, campaigns, and commercial instinct to drive measurable growth.

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Marketing Associate at Legl, you’ll:

  • Solve growth problems - how do we convert leads more effectively after sponsored events? How can we ensure that our customers understand the impact of new features that we’re launching? What is the most effective way to leverage our customer communication channels to drive cross-sells?
  • Build a deep understanding of the market and Legl’s customers so you can ensure our communication to the market is educational, helpful, timely, consultative and effective.
  • Work closely with the VP Growth on strategic initiatives from deepening relationships with critical integration partners, to accelerating use of AI to drive better outcomes.
  • Own specific campaigns, projects, events, feature launches and other opportunities to drive leads, build revenue, enable our customers and position Legl as a leader in LegalTech.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the whole company from Sales to EPD to Data to ensure that the commercial organisation is driving results and optimising important channels and projects.
  • Develop new materials, work with customers to highlight excellent use cases for Legl or particular customer stories, work on Press Releases and other market communication tools to build on Legl’s trusted brand in the market.
  • Own content and campaign execution across key channels - email, LinkedIn, SEO, and in-product - with a clear line of sight to pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Build and run outbound sequences and nurture programmes that move prospects from awareness to conversation, partnering closely with the sales team on messaging and timing.
  • Support and participate in discovery calls and demos - adding commercial context, following up with tailored content, and helping progress deals through the funnel.
  • Develop case studies, proposal assets, and sales enablement materials that give the commercial team sharper tools to close.
  • Track campaign and content performance in HubSpot and iterate fast - using data to decide what to double down on and what to cut.
  • Research target accounts and segments to sharpen our ICP, inform campaign targeting, and spot untapped opportunities in the market.
  • Partner with Product and Customer Success on lifecycle campaigns that drive activation, expansion, and retention among existing clients.

  • You thrive in lean, fast-moving environments where you’re expected to shape the brief, not just execute against one.
This Role Is Not a Great Fit If…
  • You prefer to stay in your lane - this role spans content, campaigns, GTM infrastructure, AI tooling, sales collaboration, and that breadth gives lots of opportunity and autonomy but isn’t for everyone.
  • You’re uncomfortable with ambiguity or need a fully built “old school” style marketing infrastructure to operate effectively.
  • You see sales or customer success or EPD as separate teams rather than connected to the overall revenue objectives - we want someone who’s thinking in a joined up way across the business and willing to collaborate.
  • You’re only thinking in output (like how many posts you’ve made). We want people who think in outcomes (qualified pipeline, upsell revenue unlocked, deals closed etc).
  • You think AI is “cool” but you haven’t tried it and don’t have an understanding of how it’s driving real-world impact in start up commercial team.
