Location: Greater London and Surrounding Areas

Company Overview:

Leggwork is partnering with a leading specialist in Land and Utility surveys, recognised for its involvement in some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. With continued demand across major civil engineering, highways and water frameworks, they are looking to expand their Utility Survey team with experienced individuals who can help deliver high-quality, PAS128-compliant surveys.

This is a great opportunity to play a key role in nationally important projects, working alongside a skilled team across long-term infrastructure schemes throughout the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting various surveys as part of the client’s major project schemes. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting Utility and PAS128 surveys in accordance with client specifications, company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all deliverables meet the required specifications and deadlines
  • Operating specialist equipment, such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Cat and Genny
  • Reporting on survey findings, including any issues or deviations from expected results

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in conducting Utility surveys within the realms of PAS128 compliance
  • Proficiency in using survey equipment such as GPR and Cat and Genny
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices in the civil engineering industry
  • Valid driving licence (company van will be provided)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant surveyor qualification such as QCF, ProQual or equivalent
  • Experience in the civil engineering, construction, highways or water and utilities sectors
