Leggwork are working with a long-established contractor operating across Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure, now looking to bring in a Pump Service Engineer to support ongoing works across the South West. This role is hands-on and field-based, working across a range of water and pumping systems, with a focus on install, service, maintenance and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, maintain and repair a range of pump systems including Grundfos, Flygt, borehole and UV filtration pumps
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across mechanical and electrical components
  • Service motors, pipework and associated pumping equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently
  • Work on-site across multiple projects as part of a mobile engineering team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working on pump systems (install, service, maintenance and repair)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fault-find independently
  • Experience working on Grundfos, Flygt, borehole or UV filtration systems highly desirable
  • Electrical knowledge around control panels (installation, servicing, repair and commissioning) advantageous, but not essential
  • Comfortable working a 50-hour week in a site-based role
  • Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
