Company Overview:
Leggwork is partnering with a leading Land and Utility survey specialist delivering across some of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure projects. With active frameworks in civil engineering, highways and water sectors, the company is expanding its Topographical Survey team to support long-term schemes across the South/ South East.
This is a great opportunity to join a company involved in shaping large-scale national infrastructure, with ongoing work linked to government-backed investment in the built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering accurate Topographical surveys to support civil and infrastructure development. Your duties will include:
- Conducting Topographical surveys in accordance with client specifications
- Ensuring all deliverables meet required standards, specifications and deadlines
- Operating specialist equipment such as Trimble Total Station to gather accurate data
- Reporting on survey findings and flagging any variations or risks
- Maintaining accuracy and integrity throughout the surveying process
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in conducting Topographical surveys
- Proficiency with Trimble Total Station and other relevant equipment
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality
- Ability to manage your own workload and work within a team
- Understanding of site safety and best practice within civil infrastructure
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
Desirable Qualifications:
- Formal surveying qualification such as QCF/ ProQual
- Experience in civil engineering, construction, highways or water sectors
