We are looking for an experienced Utilities CAD Technician with a strong background in converting raw utility data into technical drawings/mapping to join our clients team in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked within a surveying consultancy or specialist surveying company and has proven experience producing Utility Drawings and AutoCAD survey outputs.

You will be responsible for taking survey data collected from the field and producing high-quality, accurate survey drawings in AutoCAD, ensuring all work meets client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed and accurate Utility Survey drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Work with surveyors to convert raw survey data into clear CAD deliverables.
  • Deliver 2D and 3D CAD drawings for multiple surveying projects.
  • Maintain drawing accuracy, clarity and consistency across all outputs.
  • Organise and manage CAD files, layers, and documentation.
  • Support project delivery across a range of utility survey projects.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
  • Previous experience working for a Utility Surveying company (required).
  • Strong knowledge of surveying data, CAD standards, and drawing production.
  • Ability to produce Raw Utility CAD drawings to a professional standard.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with surveyors and project managers.
