THE ROLE

LEGGWORK are recruiting a Telehandler Operator for a residential construction project in Guiting Power, Gloucestershire. This is a short-term holiday cover role, operating a telehandler and supporting the day-to-day running of the site by safely moving materials and assisting site operations. Working Hours: 8–9 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Overtime: Opportunities for overtime may be available depending on site requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently
  • Move materials and equipment around site
  • Load and unload deliveries
  • Assist site management and trades as required
  • Carry out daily machine checks
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
  • Adhere to all site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification
  • Previous experience operating a telehandler on residential construction sites
  • Full PPE
  • Good understanding of site health and safety
  • Reliable and punctual approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
