Leggwork is working with a trusted leader in surveying, currently engaged on some of the UK's largest and most high-profile infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work across civil engineering, highways and rail frameworks, they are now looking to bring in a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support delivery across major schemes in London. This is a strong opportunity to step into a senior role within a progressive surveying business, where your technical expertise will play a key role in shaping nationally significant infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage site teams of up to circa 3 direct reports, supporting junior staff
  • Review and compile data for accurate reporting and client submission
  • Upgrade and implement change on electrification, plant and substations
  • Demonstrate the ability to confidently lead forecasting and CVR processes, providing detailed financial insight
  • Monitor project costs, capture changes or additional works, and ensure NEC contract compliance
  • Liaise with clients, engineers and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintain strong health and safety standards on site

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying with strong knowledge of NEC 3/4 contracts
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and working practices within civil infrastructure
  • Full UK driving licence (company car provided)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Background in rail, civil engineering, or utilities sectors
  • Ability to lead small teams on projects from inception to completion
