Leggwork is working with a well-respected contractor operating across Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure, currently seeking a Pump Service Engineer to support ongoing works across the South West. This role is hands-on and field-based, working across a range of water and pumping systems, with a focus on install, service, maintenance and reactive works with a proactive approach.
Location: Wiltshire & travel across the South-West
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain pump systems including Grundfos, Flygt, borehole and UV filtration pumps.
- Identify and rectify faults across various mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform servicing and maintenance on motors, pipework, and related pumping equipment.
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient system operation.
- Operate across multiple sites as part of a mobile engineering team supporting live infrastructure projects throughout the South West.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on pump systems (install, service, maintenance and repair).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fault-find independently.
- Experience working on Grundfos, Flygt, borehole or UV filtration systems highly desirable.
- Electrical knowledge around control panels (installation, servicing, repair and commissioning) advantageous, but not essential.
- Comfortable working a 50-hour week in a site-based role.
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided).
