Leggwork are partnering with a long-established and highly respected specialist contractor delivering irrigation, water engineering and pumping solutions across prestigious golf courses and sports facilities throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Pump Installation Engineer to join their expanding Electrical and Water Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of nationwide projects, installing industrial pumping systems, specialist pipework and supporting the construction of pump stations.
Working alongside experienced electrical and water engineers, you'll enjoy a varied, hands-on role with genuine opportunities for training, development and long-term career progression within a business that continues to invest in its people.
Key Responsibilities:- Install industrial pumping systems and booster sets.
- Install stainless steel fabricated pipework manufactured in-house.
- Install polyethylene pipework using electrofusion welding techniques.
- Install M-Press stainless steel pipework systems.
- Assist with the construction of pump houses, including small concrete works, kiosk builds and associated infrastructure.
- Work alongside the Electrical and Water Engineering teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard.
- Represent the business professionally when working on customer sites.
- Travel across the UK, staying away from home where required.
- Experience installing industrial pumping systems and pipework.
- Experience with stainless steel, polyethylene or press-fit pipework systems desirable.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good communication skills.
- Competitive salary: £42,000 - £52,000 (DOE).
