Overview: Leggwork are partnering with a leading Land and Utility Surveying specialist delivering work across some of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of schemes spanning Civil Engineering, Highways and Utilities, they are looking to appoint an experienced Topographical Surveyor to support ongoing project delivery across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering long-term project security, exposure to major infrastructure frameworks and genuine progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate Topographical surveys across a range of infrastructure projects
  • Operate Trimble Total Stations and associated survey equipment
  • Collect, process and record survey data to required standards
  • Produce accurate survey outputs in line with client specifications
  • Identify and report site constraints, discrepancies and potential risks
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and within project deadlines
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality throughout the surveying process

Requirements:

  • Proven experience carrying out Topographical surveys
  • Proficient using Trimble Total Stations and related survey equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements on live sites
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • QCF, ProQual or equivalent Surveying qualification
  • Experience within Civil Engineering, Highways, Utilities or Construction sectors
  • Knowledge of major infrastructure project environments
