THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Carpenter for a long-term construction project in Kingswood, Bristol. The successful candidate will have solid carpentry experience and be comfortable working across carpentry, insulation and multi-skilled tasks. This is a long-term opportunity for someone looking to work as part of an established site team. Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Overtime: Opportunities for overtime may become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out general carpentry works
- Assist with insulation works
- Complete multi-skilled tasks across the site
- Carry out repairs, alterations and general construction duties
- Work alongside other trades and site management
- Follow drawings and project specifications where required
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Keep the site clean and safe
- Follow all health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Good general carpentry skills
- Experience with insulation or multi-skilled construction work is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Own tools and PPE
- CSCS Card
- Reliable and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
