With continued demand across major civil engineering, highways and water frameworks, the business is expanding its Utility Survey team to support long-term delivery across the South East. This is an opportunity to work on nationally important infrastructure schemes, gaining exposure to complex projects while developing your technical capability within a well-established surveying team.

The Role: As a Utility Surveyor, you will support the delivery of utility and PAS128 surveys across major project environments. The role is hands-on and site-focused, offering consistent workload and progression opportunities.

  • Conducting Utility and PAS128 surveys in line with client specifications and company procedures.
  • Operating specialist equipment including Cat & Genny and GPR.
  • Ensuring survey deliverables meet required technical standards and deadlines.
  • Accurately reporting survey findings, including identifying clashes, risks or anomalies.
  • Working independently on site while collaborating with project teams and senior surveyors.
  • Maintaining strong health and safety standards across live infrastructure sites.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience delivering utility surveys within PAS128 environments.
  • Confident using EM locators, Cat & Genny and exposure to GPR.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines independently.
  • Good understanding of H&S procedures within civil engineering environments.
  • Full UK driving licence (company van provided).

Desirable:

  • QCF / ProQual or equivalent surveying qualification.
  • Background in civil engineering, highways, construction or water & utilities.
