LEGGWORK are recruiting a High-End Carpenter for a prestigious construction project in Corsham, Wiltshire. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced carpenter with a strong background in heritage and high-end works. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality carpentry works while maintaining excellent attention to detail and working alongside other skilled trades on site.
Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Overtime opportunities will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out high-end carpentry works to a high standard
- Complete first and second fix carpentry works
- Work on traditional and heritage properties
- Carry out repairs, alterations and bespoke carpentry works
- Work from drawings and site specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work closely with other trades and site management
- Ensure all work meets the required quality and finish
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Previous heritage carpentry experience is essential
- Experience working on high-end or traditional properties
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Own tools and PPE
- CSCS Card preferred
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
