THE ROLE
LEGGWORK are recruiting a Carpenter for a long-term heritage construction project in Bath, Somerset. The successful candidate will have strong carpentry experience, ideally with a background in heritage or traditional buildings, and be confident carrying out high-quality work across the project.
Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime will become available as the project progresses, including Saturdays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out first and second fix carpentry works
- Complete repairs, alterations and general carpentry works
- Work on traditional and heritage properties
- Follow drawings and project specifications
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Work alongside other trades and site management
- Keep the site clean and safe
- Follow all health and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Heritage or traditional carpentry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Own tools and PPE
- CSCS Card
- Reliable and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
