Our organisation is committed to fostering an inclusive and forward-thinking environment where diversity drives innovation and collaboration. The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, advancement, coordination, and successful delivery of a diverse programme of live events including concerts, comedy shows, sporting fixtures, conferences, and corporate events. Working closely with promoters, tour representatives, event organisers, contractors, and internal departments, the role ensures all events are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest operational and customer service standards.

The Events Manager acts as Duty Manager during events, overseeing venue operations, managing event budgets and recharges, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and advancement of allocated events at the venue.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for promoters, event organisers, tour representatives, and clients, providing guidance, coordinating event requirements, and building strong professional relationships throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Manage the operational delivery of events as Duty Manager, overseeing load-ins, event operations, and load-outs, while coordinating venue teams, contractors, and production personnel to ensure successful execution.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, security, and compliance, producing and reviewing event-specific risk assessments and safety documentation, and responding effectively to incidents and emergency situations.
  • Manage event budgets, forecasts, expenditure, and client recharges, ensuring costs are controlled, accurately recorded, and communicated to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional working across all venue departments and external contractors, facilitating effective communication, leading event briefings, monitoring performance standards, and driving continuous improvement in event delivery and customer experience.

Experience in the events industry or transferable skills from a similar role is required. The ability to build good working relationships with team members, clients, contractors and visiting production teams is essential. Practical experience in writing risk assessments and safety documentation is necessary. Competence in the use of Microsoft Office, with extra emphasis on Excel, is required. The ability to interpret CAD drawings and use of CAD software is preferable.

At Legends Global, we are committed to leading the entertainment industry towards a greener, faster, and more innovative digital future.
