As a Casual Kitchen Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the kitchen team by ensuring a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
You will assist in food preparation, washing dishes, and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are upheld.
Start Date: We are looking for candidates who are available to start at the beginning of September, with a couple of induction shifts throughout August.
You'll also have the opportunity to work with brand new equipment in a recently upgraded kitchen, supporting an exciting new phase of our food operation.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
Support the kitchen team with food preparation, including basic tasks such as chopping and ingredient prep.
Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised efficiently.
Dispose of kitchen waste safely and maintain a tidy working environment.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Previous experience in a kitchen or similar fast-paced environment is desirable.
Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and busy event periods.
