Purpose-built for world-class live events, the arena hosts an exciting mix of international music acts, major sporting fixtures, and large-scale corporate events.

With a capacity of over 13,000, it stands as one of the region's premier venues, combining a rich history with a vibrant programme that continues to attract visitors from across the UK.

The Role

As a Casual Hospitality Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to guests attending concerts, sporting events, comedy shows and other live entertainment at Sheffield Arena.

Working across restaurants, bars, hospitality suites, lounges and premium dining areas, you will provide outstanding customer service whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and professionalism.

You will be expected to represent the venue with enthusiasm, creating memorable experiences for every guest.

  • The Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service and provide a friendly, professional welcome to guests.
  • Serve food and beverages safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Process cash and card payments accurately using point-of-sale systems.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menus, drinks, promotions, and venue facilities.
  • Assist with the setup, presentation, and smooth operation of hospitality areas before, during, and after events.
  • Keep service areas clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout service.
  • Follow all food safety, health & safety, hygiene, allergen, and licensing requirements.
  • Report any safety, maintenance, or security issues promptly.
  • Work collaboratively across teams and support other departments as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, attend training sessions, and contribute to a positive team environment.

  • Well-presented with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident when interacting with guests and handling customer enquiries.
  • Eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to a positive team culture.
