The Role
The role of the Marketing Executive at Utilita Arena Newcastle is to support all areas for marketing and communications with an emphasis on driving ticket sales, maximising opportunities for the sale of premium products, and working with venue partners to fulfil their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring all activity is executed on time, on brand, and across key channels including advertising, social media, digital marketing, website content, and event promotion.
- Create engaging marketing content and collateral, including social media videos, website/blog content, presentations, and promotional materials that support both commercial objectives and wider business functions.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, working closely with promoters, ticketing partners, agencies, suppliers, and industry contacts to coordinate and support event marketing activity before, during, and after events.
- Monitor performance and drive event success, tracking ticket sales, evaluating promotional activity, identifying opportunities, and contributing to the planning and development of effective marketing strategies.
- Act as a key marketing representative across the business, providing excellent customer service, communicating information clearly and accurately, supporting site visits and events, and collaborating with venue teams to meet operational and commercial objectives.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in digital marketing and content management, with a strong understanding of website/CMS platforms, social media channels, digital marketing principles, and emerging trends.
- Skills in creating and managing marketing campaigns, including email marketing through ECRM platforms and social media activity via Meta Business Suite.
- Proficiency in design and content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms, with the ability to produce engaging marketing assets.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to create clear, accurate, and compelling content across multiple channels.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities, capable of developing effective working partnerships with both internal teams and external contacts.
