The Network & Infrastructure Engineer plays a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Olympia's network and infrastructure estate. Working closely with the IT Network & Infrastructure Manager, the engineer will support the delivery of connectivity services for events while maintaining the core technology platforms that underpin Olympia's business operations.

- Deliver and support event networking services, providing connectivity solutions for exhibitions, conferences, live events, and entertainment productions.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, internet services, firewalls, switches, routers, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
- Provide expert technical support, delivering on-site event assistance and 2nd/3rd line support for incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
- Maintain secure, resilient, and high-performing systems, undertaking monitoring, maintenance, patching, upgrades, cyber security activities, and disaster recovery testing.
- Drive continuous improvement and project delivery, contributing to technology upgrades, infrastructure projects, documentation, and enhancements to performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Experience supporting enterprise network and infrastructure environments, with a strong understanding of complex IT operations. Strong technical networking expertise, including wired and wireless networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with enterprise technologies, such as switches, routers, wireless platforms, Microsoft server and cloud solutions, and virtualisation. Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills, with knowledge of IT service management and cybersecurity best practices.
