About the Role

This role is responsible for delivering 24/7 security operations at OVO Arena Wembley, ensuring the safety and security of people, assets, and the venue. Duties include control room operations and internal patrols, with periods of lone working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 24/7 security operations, including control room duties and internal patrols.
  • Monitor CCTV and building systems, ensuring compliance and functionality.
  • Manage access control, keys, radios, and security equipment.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, maintaining accurate logs and reports.
  • Conduct patrols and investigate incidents, accidents, and site issues.
  • Liaise with emergency services and support safety procedures, including fire warden duties.
  • Manage deliveries, mail screening, and related administration.
  • Maintain records and provide reports using Excel and incident systems.
  • Support other departments and carry out additional duties as required.
  • Lone working including empty building patrols and in a pressurised control room will be required.

We are looking for someone with:

Essential:

  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • SIA CCTV Licence.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Knowledge of counter-terrorism awareness and protective measures.
  • Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational, administrative, and decision-making skills.
  • Reliability and flexibility.

Desirable:

  • Experience in event security (e.g., stewarding, venue security).
  • Experience in other security settings (e.g., retail, loss prevention, guarding).

Recruitment Process Outlined:

  • 1st Stage- Initial introductory call with Talent Acquisition Team.
  • 2nd Stage- Interview with OVO Arena Venue Security Manager.

Legends Global requires all security staff to be vetted in accordance with BS7858 which includes the following:

  • 5 years of employment verification.
  • 6-year credit search.
  • Proof of ID & UK right to work.
  • Proof of address.
  • A valid SIA licence or carrying out basic disclosure/ACPO.
  • Coverage of any 31 day employment gap.
