CGC Event Caterers are currently hiring for a Cashier to join our Revenue team! This role will assist in day‐to‐day cash and revenue operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support the company EPOS systems and payment terminals as required.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist with fulfilling physical cash and change requirements of event operations
  • Provide onsite support for payment terminals to retail assistants
  • Attend event days to oversee and carry out cashiering operations
  • Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales
  • Maintain accurate inventory of card terminals to promote cashless transactions
  • Carry out weekly safe checks, ensuring cashbook reconciliation is up to date

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with cash and processing payments is essential
  • Excellent time‐management and organisational skills, able to work well under pressure
  • High levels of accuracy and problem‐solving ability
  • Proactive and reactive work style, able to manage own workload
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of other IT systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, natural positivity, tenacity, energy, drive and ambition
  • Full, clean driving licence desirable
