An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our incredible sales team, actively selling and promoting weddings and events at one of our most beautiful venues, The Sun Pavilion! Nestled in the heart of Harrogate Valley Gardens, The Sun Pavilion is a prestigious venue famous for its glass dome and magical history. A favourite for the locals and a big seller as a wedding venue, The Sun Pavilion is an incredible events spot therefore we are looking for the right person to help sell its magic.
This position will primarily be based at our Head Office in Garforth for all sales and coordination based tasks; however, you will be required to attend the venue on wedding days to support the client on their big day, alongside priority show rounds, tastings and wedding fairs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is already working in the wedding world and is looking for their next challenge.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively promote The Sun Pavilion, driving weddings, conferences and event bookings
- Convert enquiries and follow up on leads to draw in business
- Full wedding and event coordination, from initial enquiry through to event delivery and everything in between
- Preparing proposals and working with the client to help deliver the best possible experience we can provide
- Carrying out venue show rounds and host venue viewing days
- Creating contracts, collecting payments and ensuring regular communication with the client throughout the entire process
- Liaising with industry suppliers and external vendors
- Planning, diarising and managing all The Sun Pavilion bookings
- Attending external networking events and showcases to promote the venue
- Work with the Head of Weddings and Events to ensure the successful delivery of all events
- Actively work with the Senior Client Relationship Manager and wider events team for new ideas and promotions for the venue
- Working closely with Marketing to align on campaigns
Person Specification:
- Previous Wedding and Events coordination experience
- Previous experience proactively selling a hospitality service
- Excellent written, telephone and face-to-face communication skills
- Highly organised, focused and self-motivated
- Existing knowledge of CRM/Event Management systems is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- A full, UK drivers license and access to own transport is desirable
- Must be comfortable travelling to The Sun Pavilion to meet the role's requirements
