Are you an experienced hospitality and events supervisor looking for some flexible work to suit your availability? We are on the lookout for a Casual Events Supervisor to work at one of our beautiful venues, The Sun Pavilion! Nestled in the heart of Harrogate Valley Gardens, The Sun Pavilion is a prestigious venue famous for its glass dome and magical history.
As an Events Supervisor, you will be supporting our Head of Wedding and Events on event days, including weddings, banquets, dinners, and birthdays. You will be supporting the set up and delivery of each event, alongside leading the F&B team on the day and supporting with training and briefings.

Please note, this is a casual position. However, you will be offered shifts and rostered for shifts with plenty of notice. Most events fall on weekends; therefore, to be successful, you must be able to work unsociable hours including weekends and late evenings.

- LNER Community Stadium β York
- Theatre Royal and Concert Hall β Nottingham
- Support the Head of Weddings and Events on event days
- Manage and lead the F&B team onsite
- Host staff briefings on the day
- Support with training of junior staff and the delivery of the CGC Academy
- Setting up and closing down of events
- Provide the highest level of customer service at all times
- Minimum 2 years previous hospitality and/or events supervisor experience
- Experience working weddings or large banquets is desirable
- A full UK drivers license and access to own transport is desirable
- Enthusiastic and engaging for staff and guests
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be flexible and adapt quickly under high pressure situations
If your CV is successful, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre hosted at The Sun Pavilion on the 2nd March. If successful in the role, you will then be invited to an induction on the 6th March.
