The Venue

The first direct bank arena, Leeds is the largest indoor entertainment venue in Yorkshire. The venue hosts approximately 100 events per year covering everything from exhibitions to national touring shows including stand‑up comedy, live music and a wide variety of entertainment events.

The Role

The Premium Host is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences at the first direct bank arena through warm, professional interactions. As a confident and engaging premium host, you will enhance the guest journey by being the first point of contact for premium guests on arrival, upselling and upgrading packages, all while maintaining high standards of service during events.

Responsibilities

  • Handling general enquiries including wayfinding, ticketing, and accessibility needs within all premium areas.
  • Proactively engaging with guests to enhance their experience with upselling lounge and suite upgrades.
  • Directing guests to their seats/suites, ensuring a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Collaborating with the sales teams and other departments to ensure safety and high service standards.
  • Answering any guest queries, escalating when necessary.

  • Proven experience in a customer‑facing role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • A positive, approachable attitude with a passion for outstanding customer service.
