Situated in the heart of the beautiful, historic market town of Beverley, the racecourse has 19 race days a year from April to September alongside a number of conferencing and events throughout the year. We are seeking casual Kitchen Porters and Racing Porters to join our Beverley team!
Kitchen Porter
- Operating the pot wash machine and cleaning all utensils and crockery
- Washing up the kitchen during and after service
- Closing down the kitchen porter area and resetting for the following day
- Compliance with health and safety standards
- General assistance with other departments as and if required
Racing Porter
- Setting up event rooms, including furniture and layout preparation
- Preparing and organising plates, cutlery, and glassware
- Supporting service teams with equipment and stock distribution
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness before, during, and after events
- Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with company procedures
- Carrying out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines

About You
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

- Ability to carry out physical/manual handling tasks
- Team player with a flexible attitude
- Previous experience in events, hospitality or similar roles is desirable
- Must be a minimum of 17 years old to apply due to the nature of this role
