The Venue
Situated in the heart of Beverley, Beverley Racecourse is a historic flat‑racing venue with 19 race days per year from April to September, plus conferencing and events throughout the year.
About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will own a kitchen section in a busy environment, preparing and presenting high‑quality dishes for race days, corporate events, weddings and private functions. You will work alongside a talented culinary team to create memorable dining experiences through outstanding food quality, creativity and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high‑quality dishes in line with company standards and specifications.
- Take responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.
- Support the Head Chef in day‑to‑day kitchen operations.
- Assist with menu preparation, food production and development of new dishes and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic working environment according to company procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to progress in their career.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Passion for food, creativity and delivering high‑quality dishes.
- Experience working to food cost targets and minimising waste.
- Level 3 or 4 food hygiene certificate.
