About the Role

As an AV Technician, you’ll be part of our Operations Technical team, delivering exceptional service to exhibition, conference, and entertainment organisers. You’ll ensure seamless AV support, maintain equipment, and provide technical expertise to create unforgettable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up rooms and deploy AV equipment for events.
  • Maintain and repair in-house AV systems.
  • Provide client-facing AV support for conferences and meetings.
  • Deploy event IT cabling as required.
  • Advise clients on AV requirements and highlight additional needs.
  • Keep stock reports updated and work areas organised.
  • Support other departments and external contractors when needed.
  • Comply with health & safety, PPE, and sustainability initiatives.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong knowledge of current and emerging AV technologies.
  • Experience supporting AV systems and Microsoft operating environments.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • IPAF licence (advantageous).
  • Previous experience in a similar technical support role.
