The Role
The Finance Assistant supports the effective financial management of the venue by processing transactions accurately, maintaining records, and assisting with reporting and compliance. This role ensures smooth operations by providing timely financial support to the Finance Manager and team, safeguarding financial integrity, supporting operational efficiency, and enhancing guest experiences.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Reconciling event revenue streams with bank deposits and system records.
- Preparing financial reports such as P&Ls, weekly sales, and cash flow updates.
- Maintaining accurate financial records for budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensuring transactions comply with policies and standards, supporting audits.
- Providing financial information to managers and suppliers, supporting queries and operations.
