The Venue
first direct arena has been voted Best New Venue in the World 2014 at the Stadium Business Awards. It has hosted artists since opening in September 2013, including Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bublé, Gary Barlow, Prince, Miley Cyrus, Le Tour De France Grand Depart, John Bishop, Queen + Adam Lambert, Fleetwood Mac, and many others.
The Arena’s unique \"super theatre\" style configuration is designed to enhance the arena experience, with all seats facing the stage and high-quality acoustics providing the best sound experience in the UK. Spectators and performers alike will enjoy a more intimate atmosphere with reduced viewing distances inside the 13,781-capacity venue.
The Role
first direct arena, Leeds is the largest indoor entertainment venue in Yorkshire. The venue hosts approximately 100 events per year covering everything from exhibitions to national touring shows including stand-up comedy, live music and a wide variety of entertainment events.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic individuals to join our food and beverage team working on a casual event driven basis.
Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and we are looking for team players that can make a positive contribution to the overall customer experience. We welcome applicants who take pride in their work, have a positive friendly attitude and possess excellent communication skills. We are looking for staff with experience of working busy events in a high-pressured environment.

F&B Assistant Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and meet them
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
