Responsible for the full costing of construction works, you will determine the financial requirements to deliver high-quality projects and procure the right materials to bring them to life.

Based in the UK, you will primarily focus on our domestic portfolio but will also have the opportunity to support Channel Islands tenders, with occasional travel to collaborate with our local team on the ground.

  • Prepare, review and analyse comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Liaise with clients and work with design teams during Pre-Construction phase negotiations.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, and the supply chain.
  • Manage tendering processes, produce clear pricing reports, and present outcomes to leadership.
  • Gather feedback from project teams to refine pricing databases and enhance future bids.

Your profile:

You have proven experience as a Senior Estimator or a similar role within the construction industry.

Your assets?

  • Over 10 years’ experience in estimating and/or production within the construction industry.
  • Strong technical and analytical mindset with advanced Excel and IT proficiency.
  • Skilled in cost estimating, pricing models, and cost management tools.
  • Proven ability to optimise costs, deliver results, and add measurable value.
  • Confident interpreting technical drawings and using BlueBeam software.
  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Knowledgeable across all aspects of the building process; project management experience is advantageous.
  • Additional strengths: bid writing, proofreading, programming, and site experience.
  • Professional membership (e.g. Association of Cost Engineers) is desirable.

You do not tick all the boxes but you are ready to take up the challenge?
