Health & Safety Manager to support our project teams and help maintain the highest standards of health and safety across our construction sites.

Reporting to the Operations Director and working closely with the wider Legendre Group Health & Safety team, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and ISO 45001, and supporting the successful delivery of our projects.

About you

You are a proactive Health & Safety professional with a practical approach and a genuine passion for creating safe working environments.

Comfortable working across multiple construction projects, you enjoy collaborating with site teams and influencing positive behaviours while maintaining high standards of compliance.

Your profile

  • 5–10 years' experience in construction health and safety.
  • Experience working for a Principal Contractor on live construction projects.
  • Good knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015 and UK health and safety legislation.
  • Experience implementing or maintaining an ISO 45001 Management System.
  • Experience carrying out inspections, audits, incident investigations and reviewing RAMS.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) and NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • IOSH Membership (Tech IOSH, Grad IOSH or CMIOSH desirable).
  • CSCS Professionally Qualified Person Card.
