We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, maximising value, and ensuring financial oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will work closely with the Production, Design teams, Subcontractors and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective construction projects.
Your main tasks include:
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Monitor and control project expenditure, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
- Procure subcontractor packages and evaluate bids, providing clear recommendations.
- Prepare tender lists, tender analysis, and tender reports.
- Work with Project Manager/Project Director/Design Manager to develop comprehensive scopes of work.
- Manage subcontractor packages as required.
- Prepare contracts, subcontract applications, and payment notices.
- Resolve commercial issues with clients, contractors, and the wider project team.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Lead and the production team.
- Provide support, guidance, and advice to the project team.
