The Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction workers on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications. The foreman acts as the link between the site team and the operatives, ensuring work progresses on schedule while maintaining quality standards.

Your main duties:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily activities of construction workers.
  • Read and interpret drawings and project specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.
  • Assign tasks to operatives and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards and compliance with building codes.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors regarding progress and issues.
  • Train and mentor new operatives and ensure practices are followed and respected.
  • Order and manage construction materials and supplies.
