Health & Safety Manager to support our project teams and help maintain the highest standards of healthand safety across our construction sites.

Reporting to the Operations Director and working closely with the wider Legendre Group Health & Safetyteam, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuringcompliance with UK legislation and ISO 45001, and supporting the successfuldelivery of our projects.

Your main duties

  • Promote a positive health andsafety culture across all projects.
  • Provide practical health andsafety advice and support to operational teams.
  • Carry out regular siteinspections, audits and compliance monitoring.
  • Support the implementation andcontinual improvement of our ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
  • Review Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), lifting plans and temporaryworks documentation.
  • Monitor high-risk constructionactivities and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
  • Investigate accidents, incidentsand near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, inductionsand health and safety briefings.
  • Prepare inspection reports, auditfindings and monthly health and safety performance reports.
  • Build strong working relationshipswith clients, subcontractors, consultants and project teams.
