The Role
Legend is hiring a Senior Analytics Manager on a 12 month FTC basis, reporting to our Head of Data & Analytics. You will be the principal point of contact for internal customers within the data team, you will transform business problem statements and strategic direction into analytics projects, you will lead collaborative efforts with Data PMs, Head of Department, leadership and internal customers on designing seasonal insight-driven data roadmaps and contribute to longer term vision conversations. You will lead a cross functional team of data analysts, and ensure best practice in Ways of Working are implemented, that analytical output is quality‑assured and that the work of the team underpins insight-driven conversations across the business.

Your Impact

  • Standardise Processes: Implement consistent ways of working across Gaming, Sports, Commercial analytics team and provide advice to other analytical roles to streamline delivery.
  • Coach & Mentor Analysts: Develop technical expertise, standardise best‑practice and statistical rigour across direct reports through regular coaching, mentoring and QA of analytical output.
  • Partner with Senior Stakeholders: Engage PMs, Heads of and business leaders to intake problem statements, translate strategic objectives into high‑value projects and influence data‑led decisions and shape analytics products.
  • Ideate & Scope Data Products: Design scalable analytics solutions that address business requirements, defining clear specifications and success metrics.
  • Participate in Pillar Reporting Calls: Lead the analytics team and collaborate with operational colleagues to bring data to life in weekly, monthly and quarterly performance review sessions by highlighting insights, opportunities and risks while also covering BAU topics.
  • Collaborate in developing and delivering the Data & Analytics Team Strategy: Break down long‑term business strategy into actionable analytics initiatives and identify current data constraints to enable successful delivery of business strategy.
  • Contribute to improving the data culture: Develop strategies to better use the analytical tools such as Self Service and Dashboarding Tools within operational and leadership teams.
  • Bridge to Data Engineering: Work with the Data Analytics and Data Engineering PMs to identify and resolve pipeline issues, optimise data flows and collaborate on enhancing tool functionality.

What You’ll Bring
Experience managing a medium–large team of analysts that drives business impact through insights. 5+ years’ experience in advanced analytics both in leadership and hands‑on roles with demonstrable impact through building data products and generating insights. Hands‑on experience with statistical QA, validating analytics methodologies and designing standardised best‑practice analytical ways of working. Collaborative leadership style that fosters innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Expert in SQL (Snowflake), Python or R and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics) with a good level of numerical acumen. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to convey complex concepts simply, influence senior leaders and be agile to diverse communication styles. Strategic thinker with proactive problem‑solving mindset and focus on tangible business outcomes. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Interview Process
1st Stage – Introductory Call (30 minutes)
A short call with our Talent team to learn more about your background, experience, and motivations, as well as give you an overview of Legend and the role.
2nd Stage – Team Interview
A collaborative discussion with members of our Data Analytics and People teams. This will focus on your analytical experience, approach to problem‑solving, and how you work with stakeholders and teams.
Final Stage – Leadership Interview
A final conversation with the Head of Department, focusing on your leadership experience, strategic thinking, and how you would approach driving impact in the role.
