The Role

Legend is hiring an Off‑Page SEO Manager reporting directly to our Senior Off‑Page SEO Manager. In this role, you’ll lead link‑building strategy and execution across our DACH markets with potential to expand into additional non‑English regions. You’ll manage a team of talented link‑building specialists, drive performance against ambitious targets, and build strong relationships with key publishers to strengthen our market presence.

Your Impact

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing off‑page team providing training, support and guidance to drive performance and growth.
  • Own the full lifecycle of link acquisition from strategy and domain evaluation to campaign execution, monitoring and optimisation.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with on‑page SEO, content and other teams to ensure strategic alignment and delivery of high‑quality relevant campaigns.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analysing competitors, monitoring market trends and refining off‑page strategies, processes and workflows.
  • Build and manage strong external relationships, including agencies, publishers and partners, to secure impactful, cost‑effective placements and content delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven expertise in off‑page SEO with a strong track record of delivering high‑quality backlinks and measurable organic growth.
  • Native‑level German language proficiency (spoken and written) is required.
  • Experience leading and developing a team, fostering collaboration, performance and professional growth.
  • Deep understanding of content quality, topical relevance and EEAT principles and how they influence off‑page authority and performance.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to conduct backlink and competitor analysis and work effectively with on‑page and cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency in industry‑standard SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, Majestic, Semrush) and experience coordinating content production with freelancers and agencies.
