The Role

Legend is hiring a Digital PR Specialist – Joining a newly formed team, you’ll play a central role in shaping the Digital PR direction from the ground up setting the creative vision, leading campaign strategy, and delivering high-authority backlinks that drive real results. While this is a new team, you’ll be supported by the tools, expertise, and infrastructure of our well-established Digital PR function.

This role offers true autonomy, high creative control, and the opportunity to experiment with bold ideas that land impactful coverage. We’re looking for someone who’s commercially minded, innovative, and confident leading end-to-end campaigns, from proactive storytelling to expert commentary and newsjacking. Your Impact

  • Lead End-to-End Digital PR Campaigns – Plan and execute campaigns from ideation through delivery, including data sourcing/commissioning, angle development, asset QA, outreach, and performance reporting.
  • Drive Media Relations & Outreach – Build and maintain strong relationships with US journalists, leveraging tools such as Muck Rack to create targeted media lists and deliver personalised, high-impact pitches.
  • Own Reactive & News-Led Opportunities – Monitor trends and breaking stories to identify reactive campaign opportunities, expert commentary angles, and timely newsjacking that generates authoritative coverage.
  • Secure High-Authority Coverage & SEO Impact – Consistently earn relevant, tier-one and niche backlinks that drive organic growth, strengthen brand authority, and align with keyword strategy.
  • Optimise Performance & Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Track campaign impact (link quality, authority, organic contribution), refine strategy based on insights, and work closely with SEO, Content, and Compliance to ensure alignment in regulated markets.

What You\’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end Digital PR campaigns across English-speaking markets (US or Canada preferred), delivering high-quality coverage and commercially valuable backlinks. Experience in iGaming or other competitive/regulated industries is advantageous.
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop original, data-led campaign ideas that cut through saturated media landscapes and align with SEO and brand objectives.
  • Demonstrated success building journalist relationships and executing tailored, high-performing outreach.
  • Highly autonomous and accountable, comfortable operating as the sole DPR lead for a brand with minimal oversight and limited internal resource, managing multiple campaign stages independently.

The Interview Process

  • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
  • 2nd: Interview with our team, Senior SEO Specialist and Head of Digital PR (1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 3rd: Take home task – you will be given 5 days to complete the task before sending it back to us so we can review
  • 4th: Final interview with our team, Global SEO Expert and Senior SEO Specialist (1 hour video via Zoom)
