Civil and Commercial Litigation Solicitor

We are a well-established and well-regarded law firm in East London. We provide bespoke, yet still cost-effective, service across a wide range of legal disciplines. An opportunity has now arisen for a solicitor with a strong background in civil and commercial litigation to join and head the Litigation team.

The Role:

You will be managing a caseload of a broad range of litigation matters. This could include, for instance, Landlord and tenant, employment matters, disputed Probate, General Civil Litigation, contractual disputes, professional negligence etc. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic lawyer to build a career with this ambitious and determined firm, running a busy caseload with substantial levels of responsibility from the outset. You will also be responsible for running the department with minimal supervision.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a solicitor of at least 7 years’ PQE in a similar role; a strong negotiator and robust litigator, possessing excellent technical skills;
A real team player, with excellent communication skills, IT literate and with strong time management and confident in running a busy department with minimal supervision, Expected to adopt pro-active approach to all areas of work. Additional expertise in another practice area would be welcomed, but is not essential.
