The Role
Legend is hiring a Analytics Manager on a 12-month contract basis, reporting directly to our Senior Analytics Manager. Leading a team of analysts across multiple products, you will lead data-driven projects utilising advanced analytics methodologies to help direct reports drive business insights that create impact and operational improvements. Your Impact:
- Regular Reporting: Compile regular reports detailing what’s happening in each pillar, interpreting data to tell a cohesive story to help build the SEG Monthly & for wider sharing with the business.
- Maintain Communication Channels: Meet regularly with key Pillar stakeholders to understand their needs and questions. Bring these back to the dedicated analysts or central team to help inform their roadmaps.
- Standardise Processes: Implement consistent ways of working across different teams such as Gaming, Sports and the Central team to streamline delivery.
- Maximise Tool Utilisation: Develop strategies to better use the analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau and Squad Intel within our teams and within the pillars, building relationships with this team to help inform how we enhance their functionality.
- Develop Direct Reports: Support direct reports in successfully delivering their projects. Help build development plans for individuals so that we can support their longer term development and help in the retention of the team.
- Support in Data & Analytics Team Strategy: Help deliver the strategy set out by the analytics leadership team to help the overall performance of Data & Analytics.
What You’ll Bring:
- Business Metrics: Understands headline metrics and is able to define key performance metrics and conduct diagnostics taking into account macroeconomic and competitive factors.
- Analytics: Can analyse data, predict and explain patterns or trends, monitor performance and recommend solutions to support and address business challenges using a wide range of methodologies including model building, hypothesis testing, exploratory analysis, optimisation etc.
- Visualisation: Can present findings using appropriate visualisations in dashboards and presentations to facilitate better understanding of data-driven insights.
- Data Storytelling: Can create a clear vision and compelling story within a tightly defined scope, highlighting trends, opportunities and potential solutions supported by analysis.
- Data Extraction & Management: Can collect, cleanse, transform and store data to support analytical work. Has the ability to evaluate data quality, determine suitability to task and make decisions on pre-processing decisions.
- Coding: Ability to apply programming logic, loops and functions and use scripting and/or statistical language.
- Statistical Knowledge: Understands how to use or apply data concepts such as regression, correlation and causation nuances, a/b and multivariate testing, machine learning, and when to use what models.
