The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Associate to join our growing Trade Marks team. This role offers the chance to work with fast-growing UK and international businesses across a wide range of industries, supporting them to protect, manage and enforce their brand assets.
You will play a key role in providing practical, business-focused advice to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated trade mark lawyer who enjoys autonomy, client interaction and fast-paced work, without the constraints of traditional private practice.
How You'll Help Clients
- Manage UK and international trade mark portfolios from filing to registration.
- Prepare and prosecute trade mark applications.
- Handle trade mark oppositions, cancellations and infringement matters.
- Draft cease-and-desist correspondence and settlement agreements.
- Conduct trade mark clearance searches and advise on filing strategies.
- Assist clients with brand protection, IP strategy and enforcement.
- Work closely with commercial and litigation colleagues where required.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver a first-class client experience.
The Ideal Candidate
- English qualified with 2-5 PQE of local experience in assisting commercial clients in a variety of trade mark matters, including filings, prosecution and oppositions. Additional experience and/or qualifications in designs, EU intellectual property law, and copyright will be highly regarded.
