The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a versatile dispute resolution lawyer to join our growing team as a Practice Leader.
You will have experience in supporting commercial clients of all sizes with a broad range of disputes (specifically contractual, corporate, employment and leasing disputes), as well as debt recovery matters.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Managing and directing your own varied caseload of litigious and pre-litigation matters from inception right through to trial or resolution.
- Building direct, trusted-advisor relationships with clients, where your strategic advice genuinely shapes business decisions and commercial outcomes.
- Running large, complex commercial litigation.
- Guiding junior lawyers through complex matters, fostering their professional growth and confidence, and reviewing their work.
- Sharing your expertise through articles, webinars and internal training.
This is an opportunity to practice law differently - without the inflexibility, micromanagement and face-time of traditional law firms - whilst continuing to work on challenging matters with interesting clients.

- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified and capable: A 5+ PQE UK qualified lawyer with demonstrated experience in assisting commercial clients (particularly SMEs) in a range of dispute resolution matters.
Experience in construction disputes would be ideal.
- Proven ability to manage litigious and pre-litigation matters with minimal supervision.
- Commercially minded with the ability to provide strategic, practical advice aligned to clients’ broader business objectives.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted-advisor relationships.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, advocacy, and matter management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working across a diverse range of industries and adapting quickly to new commercial contexts.
- Team-oriented lawyer who values collaboration, flexibility, and a positive workplace culture.
