The Opportunity
We are looking for a 3+ PQE English qualified lawyer to join our Commercial and Privacy team in Manchester. In this position, you will assist our growing number of SME and Corporate clients with a varied range of commercial, privacy and general corporate work. LegalVision's clients operate in a range of industries, including SaaS/IT, healthcare, e-commerce, construction and recruitment. Our ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the UK's data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR), as well as consumer laws.
This position is ideal for a Senior Associate level lawyer with broad commercial and privacy law expertise. You should have experience in efficiently managing workflows and matters in a fast paced, high volume environment, and effectively communicating directly with clients. Our headquarters are in Manchester, but we are happy to consider remote work arrangements, including from London, for the right person.
How You'll Help Clients
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, e-commerce documents, IT and software contracts, IP and licensing agreements, contractor agreements and referral agreements.
- Drafting and reviewing privacy policies and internal privacy manuals.
- Advising on the GDPR, including responding to data subject access requests, data breaches, controller/processor arrangements, and AI implications.
- Advising on UK consumer laws.

- Qualified: An English qualified lawyer with demonstrated local experience in assisting commercial clients in a variety of commercial and privacy. Additional experience in general corporate work will be highly valued.
