Our well-established client law firm based in Potters Bar is looking for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor of at least 10 years + pqe, who can run their own caseload without supervision and have the opportunity to expand the department by re-establishing connections with clients and creating new relationships with clients generated within the firm (and from enquiries from their website) from property work and to build on the existing client relationships.
The successful candidate will be working stand alone with the support of an experienced Paralegal, a full-time legal secretary and a part-time legal secretary, where you will provide digital dictation to the secretaries, along with further support from the partners, whereupon they will be expected to expand the department.
Ideally you will have worked in private practice with a general litigation caseload with a mix of property litigation, i.e. residential and commercial landlord and tenant, together with experience of general contract disputes and forfeiture and dilapidation claims for commercial properties and be interested in dealing with the property side of litigation. Experience of knowing how to get around a residential and commercial lease is essential. If you have probate disputes and inheritance act claims experience, then this would be an advantage.

- Advocacy experience for remote timetabling hearings is essential
- Instructing Counsel to attend hearings is the preferred method to the solicitor attending in person hearings
The ideal candidate will work in the office full time but our clients will consider hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Availability: ASAP
Salary: £65-75,000 depending on experience + company pension
Holidays: Standard plus bank holidays
Hybrid working Hours: 9-5.30pm
