We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Group Finance team, supporting core expense and allocation activities across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and contributing to robust financial reporting in a supportive and inclusive environment. Responsibilities
- Supporting expense and allocated expense reporting across actuals, forecast and plan
- Preparing month end and quarter end journals, reconciliations and reporting deliverables
- Maintaining governance over expense ledgers, chart of accounts and fixed assets
- Producing VAT returns, statutory returns and supporting audit requirements
- Delivering management information and analytical support for expense and allocation activity
- Working collaboratively with divisional finance teams and other stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and supporting automation and change initiatives
- Responding to expense and allocation queries and providing system and process guidance
Qualifications
- Experience preparing reconciliations, financial analysis and reporting within a finance role
- Studying towards or part qualified in ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent experience
- Confidence working with accounting systems and posting journals to the general ledger
- Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools to analyse and present data
- Clear and inclusive communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving
