Job Description
We\\\’re currently looking to hire an Trade Services Oversight, Senior Analyst to join L&G Asset Management
We\\\’re looking for someone to lead the oversight of all Trade Management processes across our outsourced Middle Office teams and retained functions. You\\\’ll play a key role in supporting L&G\\\’s global trading activity – ensuring accuracy in trade booking, confirmation, settlement, and fail management across Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Repo, and Liquidity products
What you\\\’ll be doing:
- Completing daily tasks incl. Trade Booking management, Trade Confirmation, Settlement & Fail management in accordance with market and risk criterion. Supporting any project demands in regards to either transition of business and/or Client led development of Trade Services offerings to satisfy our clients demands
- Working with L&G stakeholders, Middle Office provider, Broker, Custodian and Vendors to ensure that all services are managed and risk is mitigated timely
- Working in partnership and collaboration with team members and outsourced provider to ensure daily tasks are completed in line with agreed service standards and deadlines (incl. accuracy, timeliness, and client service measures)
- Assisting the outsource provider with agreed retained services delivery for the respective service area
- Monitoring the daily & weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly
- Taking ownership and investigation of queries/issues that may arise, escalating and reporting any inconsistences to supervisor or manager in a timely manner
- Identify control weaknesses relating to trade services operating model and recommend and implement procedural and process change in partnership with team members, manager, and outsourced provider where applicable
- Ensuring end to end understanding of all operational tasks and how they relate and impact all processes. Ensure standard ways of working are applied consistently
Qualifications
Who we\\\’re looking for:
- You\\\’ll have previous experience within Investment Operations with an understanding of Trade Services tasks, including Settlement disciplines for Equities, Fixed Income and FX products, fails management, trade booking and amendments, Repo transactions and lifecycles
- Understanding of Outsourced Service Model
- Demonstrated experience of the asset management industry/experience relevant to role and activities performed
- Client focussed and able to liaise with all levels of seniority internally and externally
- Experience in working with and overseeing 3rd party relationship service delivery
- Industry awareness of the outsourced service area and regulations governing it
- Experience using CRD (Charles River Investment Management system), TLM, Order management systems, SWIFT messaging
- Ideally has IMC or IOQ Qualification
