Job Description
Are you passionate about driving change and delivering value through effective project governance? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior PMO Analyst to join our Group Finance, Change & Delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic portfolio, supporting strategic initiatives and helping shape the future of our organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Identifying transformation opportunities, shaping ideas, creating solutions, and gaining senior management buy-in
- Working with senior stakeholders to define impactful VMO (Value Management Office) functions and services aligned with Polaris strategic objectives
- Collaborating with key leaders to leverage financial insight and drive executive decision-making for the change agenda
- Leading the creation of portfolio plans and forecasts to meet strategic objectives, ensuring accurate and tailored analysis
- Reviewing and improving VMO (Value Management Office) proposals, staying updated on best practices, and maintaining the integrity of the function
- Defining, developing, and delivering VMO (Value Management Office) services to meet customer expectations consistently
- Allocating tasks to junior staff, leading employee management, and providing coaching to ensure high standards and policy adherence
- Understanding Business Transformation principles and translating them into effective change activities and VMO (Value Management Office) outcomes
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Preference for a regulated industry background
- Experience in portfolio planning and management with a track record of effective management and reporting, delivering portfolio plans across complex geographical and functional matrix organizations
- Proven track record of supporting portfolio plans for large, complex change and technology initiatives with technology appreciation and awareness
- Building effective relationships to ensure approved delivery plans, with a proven background in adapting to trends and openness to new ideas
- Prince2, Project management and Agile qualifications - desirable but not essential
- Collaborative worker who freely shares their knowledge and experience and with the ability to develop and mentor individuals
