We are looking for a Senior Investment Associate / Investment Manager to join our Alternative Debt team within Private Credit. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing Emerging Markets strategy, managing investments across sovereign lending, private credit and impact-focused finance. You'll be working in a collaborative, high-performing environment, supporting the delivery of investment strategies that generate long-term value for clients while contributing to sustainable global outcomes. What you'll be doing:
- Developing and maintaining origination channels and partnerships to expand investment opportunities
- Assessing potential investments against risk and return objectives and supporting due diligence and approval processes
- Managing execution and settlement activities and coordinating capital deployment with portfolio teams
- Analysing financial performance, reviewing borrower reports and conducting stress testing
- Supporting loan amendments, waivers and ongoing portfolio initiatives
- Producing investment reporting and presenting performance updates to clients
- Conducting due diligence visits and maintaining strong relationships with borrowers
- Contributing to new client opportunities and enhancing market profile through presentations and events
Who we're looking for:
- Experience in asset management, credit risk or lending within financial institutions
- Knowledge of emerging markets lending, including sovereign, state-owned or corporate borrowers
- Understanding of development finance institutions or multilateral development bank programmes is advantageous
- Familiarity with legal documentation for complex debt transactions, including guarantees or insurance structures
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial models
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Confident communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
