Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the operational backbone of a dynamic Private Credit business? At L&G Asset Management, we’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Operations Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring robust governance, seamless deal flow, and effective oversight of outsourced service providers, all while supporting a high-performing team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing Private Credit deal flow, including pipeline, trade execution and settlement activities
- Designing and implementing governance policies and procedures across Private Credit business lines
- Overseeing outsourced loan administrators and fund accountants, including KPI monitoring
- Leading and supporting a team of junior associates to deliver operational excellence
- Acting as the key liaison between front office and fund accounting/investment operations teams
- Delivering accurate and timely management information to internal stakeholders
- Enhancing operational controls and procedures to support business growth and compliance
- Collaborating with internal teams and third parties to ensure effective risk management and process improvement
Qualifications
- A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience in Private Credit or Investment Management, with strong IFRS and fund accounting knowledge
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical, numerical and decision-making skills
- Experience implementing funds from inception through to disposal
- Knowledge of MiFID II and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and clients
- A strategic mindset with a flexible, adaptable approach to change and continuous improvement
